YOUR DATA BEFORE AND AFTER HOSTING
Know the recovery path before you choose a plan
aidrop keeps no database backup copies. The smaller promise is deliberate: your data stays in the managed service while it exists, and the copy you keep is written to storage you control.
No automatic backup promise
A managed PostgreSQL service keeps its data across restarts, but aidrop does not keep a separate backup or promise a restore point.
Export before you leave
Your agent can read a small database over MCP or run pg_dump from a Service into HTTPS storage you own. Test restoring that copy before you depend on it.
60 days to choose or export
When a plan stops covering hosting, applications stop after three days. Backing-service data is kept for 60 days, with an email on day 50. Choosing hosting before day 60 cancels deletion.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You get 7 days with one application and one managed PostgreSQL database. The trial has its own capacity limits and does not include a custom domain. Choose a paid plan to keep hosting afterwards.
What happens when the trial ends?
Without a paid plan, your team moves to Free, which includes no hosting. Choose a plan before the trial ends to keep your application running. A trial database needs a plan that includes a database; Starter does not.
Is the price per person or per project?
The price is per team, per month. Each plan includes a number of project slots and a shared CPU and memory allowance. Team members are unlimited. An application and its managed backing services use one project slot together.
How do the CPU and memory limits work?
Applications, databases, caches and queues all draw from the same team allowance. These are reserved resources. A stopped application still holds its allocation until you archive it. A database shared by projects is counted once. A larger database leaves less capacity for applications.
What happens if I reach a limit?
The next project or deployment is refused. You are not charged an automatic overage, and existing applications are not stopped because that new action exceeded a limit. Upgrade or free capacity before trying again.
Can I use my own domain on Starter?
Custom domains start at Pro, $20/month. Starter gives you an aidrop app address. It includes no managed database, cache, queue or persistent application disk.
Can I connect a database I already have?
You can reach an external provider through its HTTPS API on any hosting tier. Direct external database connections, such as PostgreSQL on port 5432, are not supported. Use a managed database beside the app when you need the native database protocol.
Are backups included?
No. We keep no backup copies and make no restore promise. Backups are yours to make, and your agent can make them: it reads the database directly over MCP, or runs pg_dump from inside your Project into storage you own. Files written to the application's temporary disk do not survive a restart.
What happens to my database if I cancel hosting?
When your plan stops covering hosting, applications stop after a three-day grace period. Backing services and their data are kept for 60 days. Team administrators receive a deletion reminder on day 50; the data is deleted on day 60. Choosing a hosting plan before then cancels deletion. Your Projects and source code are not deleted by this process.
Can I cancel? Are taxes included?
You can manage or cancel a paid subscription in the dashboard’s billing portal. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes: the amount shown for a plan is the amount charged, with VAT or sales tax itemised on the invoice where it applies.
